No! Cruela!  Senator Rigel is not going to be your future hand bag!  Shame shame on you girl!

Look who's coming to Art Doll Heaven's Custom Work shop. Here's her update!

                                               Cruella wants to say hello!

Lady Blossum- latest update.

Lady blossum

She is my next art doll.  I'm currently designing a prototype and from this art doll create a pattern,
a finished doll for sale, and a prototype art doll for custom orders.

The pattern will be in .PDF with many pictures and easy to read instructions for $10 and video help on my blog:
http://artdollheaven.blogspot.com

The finished art doll will be 225.00.

The custom work for Lady Blossum will be 225.00 and because my artdolls are OOAK she will vary slightly.  However, you can request a different color theme for her hair, eyes, which will dictate the rest of her but I reserved the artistic license to develop her according to the changes you're wanting.  You can take a photo image of a swatch that I can match up.  Remember not all monitors are equal.
So the color that shows on my Mac Air may be different from your PC.

I will be finishing Lady Blossum for full view on my Etsy shop
https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtDollHeaven?ref=search_shop_redirect
in about 1 month from now.

Have a great day!

Videos coming soon!

I hope that is! I am trying to figure out how to add my .AVI video files from my MAC Air. So please be patient. Thank you! Annie:)

Antionette Cely's DVD's are great and gives you a hands on approach regarding her style of doll making. A must buy.

For those who make knitted projects for thier artdolls.

I love FaieIsle knitting and this is the book with unlimited possibilties. I have made small scarfs and this would also be great for Waldorf childrens dolls. Steve the Gentlrman Troll doll has a knitted scarf because he is a gentle man. Umm...or troll....lol

Patti Medaris Culea is another great doll maker who explains each step with clarity.

Easy to read. Good illustrations. Would buy more of her books.

Jack Johnston. A kind man and a great mentor.

Here are two of the best books you can find once you have a handle on how and what technique you want to use for your art doll journey. His books not only give you extra insight to how he makes his dolls but also how to market and sell them. A must have! I found his books on Ebay and Amazon. Also I am including a photo of two of his great VHS classes on how to sculpt the head, hands, feet, as well as, how to construct the body. Wonderfully insightful!

Susanna Oroyan is a great mentor for all dollmakers.

If you're a frugal dollmaker like myself you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to find great books on the art of doll making. I usually go to Amazon and because a settle for a Good Condition book, I can get my art doll books anywhere from $1.00 to $10.00. The first book I bought was by author Susanna Oroyan. And I have purchased 2 more by her. She is good at providing detailed illustrations which show the reader exactly how to construct the type of doll making technique they want to learn. Also, her books are packed with photo images of many other doll artist so that you can get a good idea of the different techniques and the end result. All of the books I have bought so far reflect the same sentiment. Hope this book review for Susanna Oroyan has helped you. Annie:)
